Current MET/TEAM Customers: What you need to know prior to updating
- The MET/TEAM version 3.1.0 and MET/CAL version 10.5.0 release is a a major update to MET/TEAM and MET/CAL software. This update includes new features, improvements, bug fixes, and minor updates.
- Upgrading from version 3.0.0 of MET/TEAM will not require you to re-request your licenses.
- Upgrading from any version before 3.0.0 of MET/TEAM will require you to re-request all of your licenses via email once the upgrade is complete. You must provide your original product codes and MET/SUPPORT Gold number (699XXXX, 425XXXX, 401XXXX, etc.) as two separate product code entry lines.?You must have an active MET/SUPPORT Gold membership to register after the upgrade if you are upgrading from before version 3.0.0.
- When updating an existing MET/TEAM system to this release, the existing MET/TEAM system must first be updated to version 3.0.0. If you have a question, please contact Technical Support for assistance. (softwaresupport@flukecal.com)
- If you are running a version prior to 3.0.0, obtain and apply the 3.0.0 update before updating to this version. Refer to the documentation included with that release for more details on updating MET/TEAM.
- Do not manually uninstall the previous version. If you do this before attempting to install this version, you may lose other information and files.
- If you have installed MET/CAL Runtime and/or MET/CAL Editor on any workstations, be sure to run the MET/CAL Client installer on all MET/CAL workstations to update them to the latest version.
New MET/TEAM Customers or Current MET/BASE customers
This download is the 60-day trial version. Use the MET/TEAM Server Installer to perform a new installation. This installer is included in the download link above and accessible from the splash screen.
MET/TEAM does not include an installer for SQL Server. A SQL Server instance must be installed before installing MET/TEAM. To determine which version of SQL Server is right for you, please review?Microsoft SQL Server Full vs. Express Guidelines.

This installation includes MET/TEAM, MET/TEAM modules, and MET/CAL, with 3 MET/TEAM, 3 MET/TEAM Mobile, 3 MET/TEAM API, and 3 MET/CAL licenses. You can activate your permanent MET/TEAM software within the 60-day period. If you are a MET/BASE customer, your new licenses will be matched with your current license configuration. MET/SUPPORT Gold customers receive MET/TEAM Express free of charge. MET/TEAM Express has limited work flow management, maintenance and configurations features, and does not support the Mobile, Customer Portal or commerce modules. Once you activate MET/TEAM Express, you can no longer use the full version of MET/TEAM with the trial licenses.
MET/TEAM Express license request instructions for current MET/BASE customers
Email the following information to?licenserequest@flukecal.com.?The 'Subject' of the email must be "Gold Request".
- Your MET/SUPPORT Gold number
- First name and last name
- Company name, state/province, and country
- Email address to receive product key code
- Attach most recent license report in pdf format
We will process your requests as soon as possible, but please allow a few days because each request will be processed manually to make sure we provide you with the correct configuration match for your current setup. We appreciate your patience.
Once your request is processed, expect an email from?licenserequest@flukecal.com?titled "MET/SUPPORT Gold Product Code" with your product activation code and instructions.
